The Council has advertised its intention to demolish certain blocks. The
Council is required by Schedule 5 of the Housing Act 1985 to publish the
following information:

The Council intends to demolish the following premises (“the Premises”) known as:

1-28 Arklow, Keesey Street SE17
42-256 Bradenham, Boyson Road SE17
1-68, 69-76, 77-105, 106-119 and 120-149 Chartridge, Westmoreland Road SE17
1-172 Chiltern, Portland Street SE17

The demolition of the Premises is necessary for the regeneration of the Aylesbury Estate area and is integral to the scheme.

The Council intends to demolish the Premises by the 29 March 2015.

The Council intends to demolish the following buildings, including flats, maisonettes and where applicable commercial premises:

1-14 Brockley House
218 (A-F) East Street
184 (A-F) East Street
1-215 Taplow
1-76 Northchurch
1-240 Wendover
60-151 Wolverton

The demolition of the buildings is necessary for the regeneration of the Aylesbury Estate and is integral to the scheme.

The Council intends to demolish the buildings by 30 December 2019.

The Council intends to demolish the following buildings:

241-471 Wendover
1-30 Foxcote
1-25 Padbury
1-81 Ravenstone
1-30 Winslow
152-192 Wolverton

The demolition of the blocks of flats is necessary for the regeneration of the Aylesbury estate and is integral to the scheme.

The Council intends to demolish the blocks of flats by 31 December 2016.

The issuing of demolition notices means that tenants will not have the right to buy in these blocks.  The only tenants being offered the right to buy opportunity are those in phase 4.  Just because the demolition notices of phase 4 have not yet been issued does not mean they will stay up. They are still scheduled to be part of the regeneration.
